Authenticity and integrity are important to us.
We believe every child should have access to health education, and every community should be empowered by that knowledge. Storytelling is the key.
We are invited and welcomed into communities where we form strong local relationships to collaborate on children's book publication projects. Community members help us to identify health, hygiene, nutrition, disease control and sometimes social issues, while local children help develop a story and its illustrations. The result is creative, accessible children's books that improve livelihoods and futures.
We envision a healthier future in which children, as members of a greater global society, have equal access to resources for better health, and as a result, a better quality of life.
Project CREED's mission is to develop and deliver community-directed publications that educate to improve health outcomes.
We value and operate with the following values always in mind:
- Enhance the communication of project leaders with communities to create relevant and compelling public health messages that resonate with young readers.
- Make available public health education materials so that information is not only accessible, but ubiquitous on any continent.
